I am currently looking for a senior telecoms key account manager to work on a 12 month extendable contract with a market leading client of mine in Johannesburg, South Africa.
All applicants must have valid work authorization to work in South Africa.
You must have experience working with a telecoms operator or one of the following companies - Vodacom, IBM, HP, Accenture or Fujitsu
Purpose of the Job:
To build and maintain customer relationship, develop sales and business with current and new customers, achieve sales target
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Development of sales and business with current clients.
· Development of new business opportunities across the telecom industry
· Development of strategic relationships between the company and customers at all levels.
· Managing the sales team to achieve the KPI targets and meet the budgets requisition internally for all projects
· Managing the day to day operational and business development relationship with clients’ in-line with the company values providing direction and support, and prioritizing activity in order to optimize business results and opportunities
· Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with high level customers.
· Capturing, recording and reporting on key technical, demographic, environmental, market, economic and financial data / information, which can be used to define, develop and improve operation throughout the customer base.
