Job Responsibilities

Responsible for technical collaboration and certification with other venders, such as IBM, HP, Oracle, Cisco, Brocade, Microsoft, VMware, EMC, Netapp etc. Maintenance the technical cooperation relationships with server, switch, storage and OS venders, Defines Huawei Storage Interoperability testing architecture and workflows to improve efficiency and quality. Conduct an assessment of interoperability requirements for product/feature set and develop test plans, test spec, test matrix based on the requirements to ensure high quality interoperability test coverage of product/feature set Engage with customers to understand user-scenarios and emulate typical customer environments in labs. This includes installation and configuration of servers, network and storage (SAN/NAS/iSCSI) and configuration of high availability cluster & other application workloads Conduct the technical collaboration with standard organization or industry association (such as INCITS, FCIA, STA, SNIA) to ensure the interoperability and achieve the certifications for Market success.

 

Job Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of R&D or testing experience in famous or large IT companies. Minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience on Interoperability testing design and relevant methodology. Have a strong relationship with famous storage, server and switch venders, good at building the relationship with surrounding venders, familiar with each vender’s certification process. Good understanding of the quality control workflow about the Interoperability requirement analyzing, designing and validating. Experiences of worked in famous Storage company’s Interoperability Lab is preferred. Expertise in networking and storage protocol standards: SCSI, FC, FCoE, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Zoning, LUN Masking/Presentation, Storage Virtualization is preferred. Familiar with all kinds of storage, hosts, switch, HBA, OS, cluster and filesystem is a plus. Strong communication skills.
