Location: USA - Nationwide ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: MARKETING “TO”: Marketing initiatives that promote the Huawei Channel Program within the enterprise industry and drives new partner recruitment Support Huawei channel account managers' new partner recruitment efforts as needed Work with US EBG corporate marketing on channel related ad placements and online marketing Develop channel positioning, messaging and communication strategies for marketing to the channel and recruiting new partners Develop effective channel program selling tools to help Huawei channel account managers (and Disti account managers) recruit new partners including: collateral, sales presentations, FAQs Develop and manage updates of all partner related content on the Huawei US Enterprise website Identify and manage participation at key channel industry events to promote the channel program Work with EBG US corporate marketing to ensure channel-targeted activities are included in our participation at industry trade events that Huawei is sponsoring (ie: Interop). Manage partner activities at such events ENABLEMENT: Marketing activities that prepare and enable new partners to position and sell Huawei solutions to end-customers. Ongoing activities and initiative that help keep partners informed about Huawei company information and product information. Develop marketing kits for new partner on-boarding: logo guidelines, content for their websites, Huawei company intro information, product information, sales presentations, press announcement template Provide regular communications to partners regarding new campaigns, promotions, product launches, training Assist channel sales team in the coordination of resources and logistics for partner sales training and knowledge transfer programs such as: on-boarding training events, seminars-in-a-box, training events, video on demand, product launch campaigns Work with product marketing to identify the support materials needed for the partners' sales reps: quick reference guides, sales presentations, web content updates, promotional materials, FAQs Keep channel partners informed about Huawei's branding and marketing activities: advertising, webinars, trade shows, speaking engagements, etc. Develop and manage lead generation programs and initiatives that allow leads to be funneled through the channel to help build the partners’ initial pipelines and enable sales – especially during the first twelve months of being a new Huawei partner MARKETING “THROUGH”: Making it possible for partners to promote Huawei products and solutions to end-customers through marketing and demand generation activities. Manage JMF program Support Channel Management with their efforts to keep track of JMF funds eligibility for each partner Work with partners to develop marketing activity plans with timelines, budgets, performance metrics and reports Work with channel management, channel account managers and finance to approve/deny JMF usage reimbursement Conduct quarterly reviews of JMF spend Deliver a quarterly consolidated report on partner marketing activities (through and with the channel) Manage 3rd party vendors that provide JMF program support Share best practices of JMF usage with all partners Work with product marketing to develop and update co-brandable partner marketing materials such as brochures, data sheets, and case studies MARKETING “WITH”: Working together with partners to promote both companies’ brands, our partnership, and the products/solutions/value we bring to end-customers Work with key partners to identify co-branded marketing activities and manage Huawei's involvement in those activities (such as: co-branded participation at tradeshows, hospitality events, tier-2 sales seminars) LOYALTY: Communications and incentives that drive partner sales representatives to position and sell Huawei products over our competitor’s products Support Channel Management in promoting the Rebate program Support Channel Management in promoting Deal Registration Manage sales incentive programs Work closely with Channel Management and product marketing to develop a strategy and roadmap for what partner sales reps will be rewarded for Identify and track key success metrics Develop and implement communication strategy for the program Manage 3rd party vendors who provide incentive program support Provide ongoing incentive analysis reports to management with recommendations Organize and promote an annual Huawei channel conference
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Refers to the job, not the incumbent)
Education and/or Certifications/Licenses: BA/BS in Marketing, Business or related field required.
Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years experience in all aspects of Marketing strategies and practices outlined above. Keen understanding of best practices in marketing communications. High level of competency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent project management skills including planning, organization, implementation, conflict resolution and achievement of deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must. Strong organization skills and attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities. Self motivated, self activated with a team player attitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift/carry materials, move about the office, turn on and operate a computer in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. Travel may be required as directed by management based on business needs.
WORKING CONDITIONS (relates to physical environment): Standard indoor office environment.
