Works as an experienced Engineer in in product, system or technology program in SW/HW/System Design or Integration &  Verification..  Works under general direction and interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in own discipline.
He/She has the responsibility for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his/her technical area (e.g. several features). Is an expert for techno-economical aspects in own responsibility area.  Leads and executes technical activities and projects in own responsibility area. Supports resource and program planning. Writes requirements, specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from a technical point of view. May work also outside of own process area on technical issues.  Solves complex engineering problems in many technology areas.  Coaches other team members in solving complex engineering problems. Undertakes technical training responsibilities.

• Experience in large scale engineering project & cross team technical interface management
• Able to conceptualize product improvements, jump-start projects through rapid prototyping, hands-on design and/or mentoring
• IP Networking experience : working knowledge of TCP/IP/SCTP, experience in routing/switching, tuning
• Expertise in one or more areas:
- Expertise architecting & writing product creation specifications for DIAMETER intensive products like HSS & DRA (Diameter Routing Agent).
- Good experience in networking protocols like DIAMETER & extensions (S6a/S6d, Cx/Dx etc.)
- Architecting redundancy & recovery solutions at the Software system level.
- Performance analysis/modeling of telecom systems
- Experience working with VoIP/IMS/ 2.5G/3G/LTE networks.
- Conversant with Multi-thread programming and C++ programming in UNIX environment (Linux/Solaris etc.)
1. BE/BTech/MTech/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecom
2. 8 - 15 years of relevant experience in development of telecom/IP based products
3. Strong Experience in Large scale SW design
4. Good team player, self-motivated and possesses strong commitment to excel.
