Product Architect – Performance measurements & analysis

• Requirements analysis of given traffic models/product features to create measurement test suites.
• Creation/Maintenance/Enhancement of performance test suites.
• Execution of Performance measurement tests on IMS core network elements (CSCF, HSS & DRA).
• Analysis & presentation of measurement data to make capacity predictions.

He/She has the responsibility for specifying, planning, reporting, measuring, reviewing in his/her technical area. Leads and executes measurement activities and projects in own responsibility area. Supports resource and program planning. Writes requirements, specifications, does performance measurements and other guiding documentation for R&D from a technical point of view. May work also outside of own process area on technical issues.
Apply the following Skills/Competencies in every day work:
• IP Networking experience : working knowledge of TCP/IP/SCTP, experience in routing/switching, tuning
• Expertise in one or more areas:
- Experience in execution/analysis of performance/stress tests using networking protocols like SIP/DIAMETER/H.248.
- Good Knowledge of Scripting languages
- Experience working with IP/SIP/Diameter Simulators.
- Cause-Effect analysis of system performance based on parameters like CPU, memory, traffic rate etc.
- Good working knowledge of OS utilities for lock contention, memory profiling etc. (Preferably on Linux & also on Solaris).
- Experience working with VoIP/IMS/ 2.5G/3G/LTE networks.

2. 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in performance measurement activities of telecom/IP based products
