SENIOR COMMUNICATION ENGINEER (SCE)

Provide advanced studies ,design, configure and implementation of new communication projects, technical specification writing, preparing Request for Proposal evaluations, and reviews for vendor’s proposal and technology solutions, assessment and analysis of telecommunication and other system technologies, and identification of technical and operational concerns preferably in the following fields:

· Public Safety and Security RadioCommunicationSystem

· Network Planning and Radio channel distribution

· Frequency Spectrum Management and Frequency planning

· Network Security and Encryption key Management

· Command and Control center design

· Law Enforcement dispatch center design and implementation

· Computer Aided Dispatch system customization and implementation

· Satellite Communication System (VSAT)

· Preparation of studies for WiFi public networks

· Ground Based Network design including Microwave and optical backbone system

· Mobile and Video surveillance systems

· Infrastructure Security Management System

· Frequency Monitoring and Direction Finding System

· Frequency Detection and Jamming System

· Geographic Information System (GIS)

· Local Area Network and Wide Area Networking planning

· Procurement and Specifications

· Preparation of Operational and Maintenance contract

· Provide development and operational support which include formal management

· and technical trainings, development of small Web-based applications, LAN administration and configurations and Technical specification writings.

Requires Master Degree in Electronics / Communication Engineering from a reputed government institute and must be fluent in English for reading and writing.

Degree obtained by online study or distance study or part time study is not acceptable.

Minimum of twelve years experience in designing, analyzing, configuring and implementing advanced and latest Telecommunication projects especially a large wide area trunked digital radio networks. Provide technical and project resources for designing, analyzing, configuring and implementing different Telecommunication projects. Extensive experience in designing and configuring Tetra Communication projects and Microwave backbone system, Tetra Radio channel and multiplexer channel distribution, tetra and microwave frequency planning dispatching and common and control centers, and CAD system products. Perform centralized network management function for local and remote sites. Provide technical experience in design of fault tolerant radio networks performance tuning of network infrastructure including high end switches microwave links and base stations. Experience in developing and writing extensive network system RFP and selecting and managing vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
