Connect44 is looking for Nokia Access Expert Engineers to be based in Venezuela.NOKIA Access Expert:

Provide GSM/EDGE Technical Support to customers as part of RA Technical Support team in China:

Specialist is responsible for follow-up investigation and resolution of complex faults in the network in coordination with the Front End and Product Line.

Provides regular support for BSC issues reported by our customer through the Electra by solving cases.

Troubleshoots problems in the customer networks if needed and provide on site support to our customers when it is required.

Participate customer pilots and new product type approval

Specialist's tasks includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Technical fault hunting in trial and live network environment

2. Technical risk assessment.

3. Test case creation and customer test proposal evaluation

4. Simulates problems in lab environment to make proper R&D escalation

5. Facilitates competence development and transfer, knowledge sharing and coaching within local organization.

6. Carries out root cause analysis for technical problems

7. Manages and develop test tools, methods and processes linked to the job

8. Will have the highest local competence for new products and SW releases in own area

10. Onsite support when neededREQUIREMENTS:

Expert-level knowledge of the BSC

Strong GSM/GPRS/EDGE system knowledge including signalling interface protocol analysis and performance troubleshooting

General telecommunication knowledge (SS7 signaling, Frame Relay, T1, Ethernet, LAN, TCP/IP, OSI protocol etc.), familiarity with the 3GPP standardization is a plus.

Understanding and experience of Care Services and customer interface.

Ability to interact with a variety of people and work well with others in a fast paced environment.
