Network & Load Balance Expert

SGFGLOBALis looking for Network & Load Balance Expert, Candidates for this role must be an expert in TCP/IP networking with know-how and expertise with F5 Load balancers, Cisco switches. Cisco certified. This role involves the configuration of switches, routers and F5 load balancers, as well as integration of telecomm applications in the core network, which requires practical experience of UNIX platforms and IP network services.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, plan and implement solutions in communications networks

- Analyze and define customer requirements/new features.

- Lead the configuration and integration of Cisco switches, and Load Balancers

- Participate in the commissioning and integration of core telecom components e.g. HLR, One-NDS, IMS to customer sites.

- Define and develop test strategy, acceptance test concepts and procedures.

- Support fault analysis and resolution.

- Develop technical architecture, service designs, data designs, technical solutions, message flows.

- Write technical proposals, feasibility studies.

- Liaise between software implementation team and customer technical team; provide technical support for the project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have sound demonstrable knowledge and experience the following technologies:

- Expert in F5 Load Balancer - configuration, testing and integration

- Demonstrable experience with F5 Load Balancers

- Strong experience in UNIX Operating System - SUN Solaris, SuSe Linux

- Unix systems/scripting

- Expert in IP network configuration and integration. Strong knowledge of Cisco switches

- Knowledge of Network protocols (TCP/IP, Diameter, SIP, SS7, Radius, SOAP, XML, http)

- Software/application installation experience in a telecommunications environment

- Preferable experience on GSM service delivery platforms: HLR, Intelligent Network (SCPs), SMSC, VMS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications field

- Good written and oral communication in English.

- 5-12 Years experience in related technical field.

- Knowledge of Nokia Siemens Networks products is a plus
