May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty. Is active in networking and knowledge sharing. Develops processes, tools and working methods. Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the evaluation and design of new, advanced 2G/3G Radio technologies. Able to translate customer or strategic business requirements into final detailed technical design Support the network rollout strategy Supported technologies include TDMA, GSM, GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSPDA. Requirements: • Technical proficiency with wireless network infrastructure, knowledge of RF propagation, RF design fundamentals, antenna theory, and performance engineering systems. • Have Excel, Access, programming, RF environment trouble shooting, frequency planning, drive testing, and TDMA, GSM, GPRS/EDGE, and UMTS/HSDPA knowledge. • Thorough knowledge of engineering best practices, capacity management, performance management, and network operations. Knowledge and skills in radio planning tools (Planet, AIRCOM) and measurement tools (TEMS) and MAP INFO. |
