To optimise the Radio Access Networks’ quality through analysis and correlation of network Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making recommendations and implementing the quality enhancement strategies.

1.Network Information and Strategy Management. •Implement strategies to ensure the continuous improvement of network quality. •Track the long term network performance trends and conduct QoS levels & performance benchmarks on a regular basis and as required. •Re-evaluate QoS targets based on updated demographic/geographical planning data and introduction of new services. •Monitor performance of new network elements to ensure that expected revenue from Capex expenditure is realised. 2.Network Performance & Quality Management •Analyse the network KPIs and formulate recommendations for network performance enhancement. •Support the introduction of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and statistical counters. •Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the network KPIs (and sub counters) for each vendor’s equipment. •Support the regional radio planning and optimisation teams in defining and implementing routine KPI reports. •Compare and identify variations in the KPIs from the different vendors. •Maintain and improve the radio performance processes and procedures. •Provide analysis and recommendations to improve the roaming model efficiency. Initiate and coordinate the required action when identifying any shift in roaming patterns. 3.Business Support. •Provide network traffic & performance inputs to support the Strategy and Marketing Departments. •Support other Access Networks departments with RF planning, costing and optimization related issues. 4.Drive test performance optimisation •Analysis of Drive Test data. •Statistical analysis of drive test log files •Drive test route optimisation. 5.Reporting & Quality Management. •Ensure consistency, accuracy and integrity of all reported information. •Highlight discrepancies and notify management accordingly. 6.Perform any other related duties as requested by Management.

•6 years telecommunications experience •4+ years experience in Performance Management (including performance optimisation) •Excellent knowledge of KPIs and Performance Counters •Excellent knowledge of the signaling protocols on the various interfaces for GSM & UMTS (LTE will be advantageous). •Drive Test results analysis and optimisation (with tools such as TEMS, NEMO, Agilent, Actix, etc.) •Very good knowledge of Mobile Network topologies. •Good IT knowledge, incl. Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access (SQL/Perl will be advantageous)

•National Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering Light Current / Electronics / Communication Engineering.
