2G RNO required for 2 Month Extenable contract - Must be available Immediately

Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering radio Network Performance Improvement (NPI) services as 2G Radio Network Optimization engineer.

Huawei background is a must.

Strong knowledge of GSM/EDGE fundamentals, techniques and radio optimization concepts.

Radio planning background is a plus.

Experience in using M2000, PRS, MCOM, MapInfo and TEMS tools.

Strong analytical skills with high level of innovation, commitment and professionalism.

Team player and self reliant.

Adopt and promote new methodologies and techniques in Radio Network Optimization, features trails and tuning.

Monitor and analyze 2G radio network statistics on daily basis over Huawei nodes.

Achieve and maintain radio network performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability and Integrity).

Perform regular audits on configurations and logical settings to clear any relevant inconsistencies.

Troubleshoot GSM and EDGE performance problems and propose and implement corrective actions. 

Identify capacity bottlenecks on radio, Abis and A-ter interfaces and issue capacity upgrade requests whenever needed.

Responsible for drive test analysis and for taking all the necessary actions to improve the performance of the area that lies under his/her responsibility.
